2019 Final Reading List - 54/50

The 2019 Reading Challenge is over, and I’m thrilled with the results! Not only did I pass my goal, but more importantly, I dove into a broader mix of books than I have in a long time.

People keep asking me how I do it. Honestly, I just don’t really watch TV. But I also carry a book with me almost everywhere, and I get a lot of great reading done on the train. I’m still addicted to scrolling on my phone, but this has helped a lot.

Some of my most joyous memories of this year are either gathering with my book club gals to talk (a bit) about our latest read, or curling up by the fire upstate with just myself and a lot of words. I’ve always been a bookworm, but being an adult reader comes with all sorts of opportunities that I am so excited to explore.

As for next year, I’m going to set a slightly higher goal: 55. In following my dear friend Barrie, I’m going to aim for 1 book per month by both a woman and a person of color.

Leave your recommendations in the comments, please, and as always, check out my Goodreads if you’re curious as to how I liked each book or are looking out to fill out your own book list.
